I don’t post my shiny often as they don’t excite me enough to care.
However these 2 moved the needle a bit as they are uncommon.
Got the shadow shiny from a grunt. Thought shiny shadows were only available from the 3 leaders? The other a rare hatch.

Since this Season, all Shadow Pokémon can be Shiny if their Shiny has been released at all, and they can also be caught in any way possible, so Shadow Raids/Grunts/Leaders/Giovanni. That means that there are now some incredibly rare shiny shadows available, which the Shiny Phantump you got is an example of. Nice catch!

I am also kinda surprised, since I only played like 1,5 hours or so, definitely not the full 3 at least. I also had no Incense on this time which I usually do.
Hmm… nothing seems out of the ordinary though. I caught 40 Shiny in around 962 checks, which equals 1/24, so it is definitely the typical Community Day rate.
My best result was 20. I guess you have much more spawn points, Poke stops and Gyms in your place. And also luck plays the part.
Maybe this is how…
It’s not my best score though. I remember getting over a 100 Shiny Sandshrew when Community Days still lasted over 6 hours. I spent that day fully walking as well, so it could have been even more.

Yeah, that explains it. I will take screenshots of my spawn points next time so we can compare.
