If my memory isn’t mistaken, this was also my first Spotlight Hour shiny and my second-ever shiny Shuppet. I really like this shiny and was hoping for a second one, but had only waited 23 months to get it. @Jormdeworm about doubled that wait… Congratulations!
Edit: Scratch that – it was 35 months. Still less than your 4 years.

I raided Zekrom over 200 times if we add up the events featuring it. I’m hoping to find a Zorua at least once…
Was your Zorua pretending to be shiny, too? Or just pretending to be a Zekrom?
They appear exactly as your buddy - so if your buddy is shiny so are they - it makes them easy to spot.
Awfully glad I saw the sparkles when encountering this, else I might not have noticed it was shiny and hurried it off to the professor!

Wasted the last few minutes of Spotlight Hour on the new Gym that got placed incorrectly, and the first thing I click on after coming back to the game to actually play it was just another spit in the face. This was definitely the most unappreciated Shiny I’ve ever gotten and I’m considering just transferring it for everything it’s brought to me.
