I think it’s rather a surprise how I didn’t get a single Shiny Meowth this weekend. At least I had both families completed already.
Kind of like how all four shiny Meowth were on my main acct and all three shiny Giratina were on my alt, though they both did the same research and mostly the same raids.
12 minutes later, raided a Giratina with just my alt acct (and half a dozen strangers), while my main is stuck not being able to find GPS. And wouldn’t you know it, my alt got another shiny.

A dozen or so international raids yesterday got my main 2 shinies and my alt another 1. Two lunchtime raids locally today landed another 1 for my alt. My shiny cup runneth over…
My alt got one more on the next raid after I posted this. So while my first 2 or 3 dozen Giratina Origins were 
, my next 3 dozen have more than made up for that.

Did two raids from the day’s first batch of eggs and got two shiny in a row on my main, bringing the total to 6 on the alt and 5 on the main. I can declare the shiny hunt over for me on Giratina. Will still raid them for the dust and candy, though.
Can some others share their shiny tinas here? I can’t be the only one getting them (besides the one caught by @celery’s cat). At least I HOPE I’m not…

My main has six, and my alt has seven. They’ve done 59 raids together and a handful separately; but that’s still quite a shiny haul. Before the event is over, each will probably have raided Giratina-O at least 100 times. I suspect I’ll get another shiny or two; but I doubt the shiny rate I saw in the first week can possibly sustain through the second.

1 Vulpix is missing as I must have accidentally trashed it while in a sleepy state when I got it.
I took the pic at the time and got another the following morning. Went to take a pic of all 3 Vulpix to msg a friend and only had 2 in collection
