They don’t usually turn off shiny forms, the only Pokémon that had their shiny forms out but can’t currently be encountered shiny are Unown, Smeargle, Genesect, all Shadow Pokémon besides Magnemite, Male Nidoran and Beldum, and Meltan. However there have been multiple occasions where they accidentally turned off a shiny.

Main got its third ‘shiny’ TLele. Alt still has none. Virtually the same number of tries and many of the same raids…

My first shiny volbeat is getting kind of stale after sitting in my bag for 4 days:
And a shiny rock has languished in the bag for only 3 days, but is threatening to spoil if not taken out now.

Wow, so yes, there was a shiny boost…
That IS a metric boatload of shinies… I was thinking that just meant there was a Jay boost. 
And @Jormdeworm indicated a few days ago that one of the shinies that had been released but was no longer found shiny is Unown. It’s encouraging to see that it showed up at the event (at the in-person event, anyway)…
Was forced to abandon the Hoenn Tour due to massive technical difficulties, but I was able to get a small amount.
