So I was looking through my collection, and saw that the sprite for Kyogre was rather small. Has there been a sprite change for Kyogre recently?

Good eye. I hadn’t noticed. Possibly because I don’t recall needing to look at any Kyogres in recent months. I’m not sure what was undesirable about its former sprite to a degree that warranted an update. Prioritizing purely-cosmetic changes seems insulting when there are so many functional glitches needing to be fixed.

Wasn’t the original kyogre sprite in Pokemon GO the same as it is now? THey had a different sprite for the last two years though.
Quite a few Pokemon got an asset change, but Kyogre’s is definitely the most pronounced. Not sure why they thought that was a good idea.
