Since last night’s ‘Lucky Friends’ patch/update I can no longer evolve any Pokémon. If I press the evolve button I’m simply thrown back out to the larger Pokémon index screen.
This is particularly annoying since so many of the Bug Event research quests involve evolving. 
Using iPhone SE and latest versions of everything.
Anyone else having this problem? Is there a workaround?

Just updated and evolved a Makuhita. No issues here.
Android… Might be the difference.
Pull the page down, so the Evolve button is outside the X button. On the new 0.139 version the X is a 2 pixels bigger that it was before.

Thanks so much… problem solved by pulling down the screen just as you said.
That ‘x’ button function is well outside of its set boundaries thouugh - it covers most of the bottom half of my screen!
