I guess you have the same problem as me, no other players?
We had a great day… sorry… three hours. I was surprised that Niatic did it that way, but it was definitely the right way. We had hoped it would work like this, so we met about 5 to 11am (when it started here) at the first gym on one side of the town and worked our way through to the other side. We even had about 40 minutes left so we went to the next small town where there is a place with 5 gyms within one very small park.
We were about ten people, we did 20 raids, and except for one person, we all got at least one shiny. I even managed to get 2, one of them with 93% IV.
And not to forget the amount of XP… three Lucky Eggs, 20 raids = 800k from raiding alone + all the catches and evolutions while driving (I was the passanger and played for the driver as well…)…
I think we can be sure, that at Go Fest they will unlock a Zapdos day and at the Japanese Safari Zone a Moltres day… And I’m really looking forward!

We had an amazing time racing from gym to gym with our group. Also went out for dinner with a group of 6 raiders, was a great day.
Sadly many of our hardcore players didn’t any shiny, and some got a lot
record for our city was 28 raids done by another group. Heared about a battle-and-go group in another city that managed to do 46 raids.
Niantic did a great job with this. Now only they need to give us some good boxes with raid passes because doing this another 2 times (which most likely will happen) with just normal bought passes ruins a lot of the fun.

Agreeed, was surprised and disappointed there was no realease of Gift Boxes full of Raid Passes.
