I’m a player based in Singapore and currently am at 83 Gold gyms. ( 81 from Singapore, 1 from Thailand and 1 from Bahrain )
Just curious how many overseas gold gyms you guys currently have apart from your local ones?

Around 150 gold in total - some have fallen off my 1000 gyms last visited - not sure of the exact number.
133-ish UK (where I live)
At least 12 France (vacations)
At least 5 USA (vacations)
I’m close to gold-ing a few from regular remote raids with friends - mainly in Netherlands, USA and Australia
Got #180 gold yesterday, it’s the fifth gold gym in the same massive park with #171 176 177 178, this is the soccer field #7. My mon was able to stay there for 2+ days before being kicked.
Got #181 gold today, it’s the sixth gold gym in the same massive park with #171 176 177 178 180, this is the baseball field #6. A Dewgong raid there pushed it gold
Got #182 gold today, it’s located next to a shoe warehouse with limited parking spots that could reach the gym, a Kabuto raid pushed it gold and got a 100% Kabuto from raid.
Thought I’d put Novembers up but turns out I haven’t. Will do later.
I’d forgotten again so here we are now 23/12 and almost time to list end of December.

Got #183 gold two days ago, it’s a Vietnamese church, my Pokemon was able to stay at the gym during the weekend and it turned gold
Ending the year 2023 with 85 Gold Gyms total, adding just 2 for the month of December.

Got #184 gold two days ago on December 31st, 2023. It’s inside a company, there are very limited parking spots that can reach the gym when the company is operating during weekdays, there are more parking during weekends. My pokemon was able to stay until Dec 31 before being kicked out
Got #185 gold today, it’s at the end of a small road near a small park in a residential area, it turned gold right after I dropped my Pokemon there, I was planning to do a raid whenever I see one there, so it saves one of my raid passes
Got #186 gold on Hisuian Typhlosion Raid Day, it’s the first in an area with 6 gyms, this is not far from #175 and #169, one of the six free Hisuian Typhlosion raids pushed it gold
Got #187 gold yesterday, it’s a Starbucks at an intersection of two big roads, next to #186 and second of the 6 gyms in the area. A Mega Medicham raid pushed it gold

That was only 8 more than I did in 2022.
I finally recorded my first CBD (Adelaide City) Gold Gym in December.
My break down is as follows:

0.09% CBD (City Centre)

January has started slow. Doing a fair amount of work starting progress on lots of new ones over a wide area upsetting 4 different territorial multi account players. Will reap the reward in later months.
Got #188 gold more than 10 days ago, it’s the seventh gold gym in the same massive park with #171 176 177 178 180 181, this is the playground #4. It’s deep inside the park, so the turn over rate is relatively low, my Pokemon was able to stay in the gym for 10+ days
Got #189 3 days ago, it’s a Christian church in an area with #186 and 187, a Thundurus Therian raid pushed it gold
Ending the month of January 2024 with 2 additional Gold Gyms brining my overall total to 87. First gold gym is at community pavilion located within a housing department near my work place. The second gold gym is at a fitness corner located within another housing area relatively near to where I reside.
Have also been working on several gyms bringing them closer but not yet to Gold so I expect to get more of them in either February/March 2024.

Got #190 gold two days ago, it’s a taiwanese restaurant in a big shopping plaza, #186 187 189 can be seen from this gym. A Druddigon raid pushed it hold
Got #191 gold today, it’s another church in the same area as #186 187 189 190, a raid there pushed it gold and completed the raid challenge for the Sinnoh Global
Ending the month of February 2024 with 3 gold gyms, bringing my total to 90.
Gym#88 is a mosque which I passed by when traveling in Dubai, with around 20 days of gym defending.
Gym#89 is located in a community club near to where I frequent after work
Gym#90 is located within the National Sailing Centre which is at a rural part of Singapore where I am able to defend for about 10 days total.

I’ve been slack and a month behind again. Product of not having my spreadsheet up to date come end of month.
After having 2 days off work unwell a couple of days ago I got some quality update/clean up time which included: Screen shots of over 180 Gold Badges and putting what number it was on them and cross referencing the spreadsheet.
All up around 4-5hrs to do.
I now have 12 Gyms I need to revisit and spin to make the badge appear including 2x over 200km from home.
