Got #157 gold today, I’m happy with my Hisuian Braviary raids today although I did not get any shiny out of the 6 raids on non-gold gyms, one of which got pushed to gold.

Couple of surprise ones in that lot I expected to take a lot longer than they did. Couple of frustrating ones that got booted 1-2 days from being Gold >100km from home finally got finished after a few weeks wait to travel back there.

Got #158 gold today, it can be reached from limited spots in a supermarket parking lot and not far from #157. A raid there pushed it gold. After the raid is over, I dropped my mon in the gym for the first time.

Got #159 gold today, it’s at a small shopping plaza and not far from 157 and 158, did two Mega Ampharos duo, one against Zap Cannon with 5 faints yesterday and another against Thunder Punch with 1 faint today, winning time is about 30 seconds different.

Still not really pursuing or even looking much at it. A few special-research tasks that called for super-effective attacks and I guess I didn’t want to blow another raid pass to get them.

Didn’t do an end of last month update.
Finished August with 19 Gold
September started well and stalled a little in the middle as I was working on and starting a lot of new Gyms.
Finished September strong to finish with 16 Gold.
October has started well with 2 Gold in the first day.
Gold for the year stands at 189.

I’ve got a problem. Thing is - I no longer know how many gold gym badges I have…
See, I went to Florida on vacation for 2 weeks in November - and because of the effects of Hurricane Ian I couldn’t go to a lot of my usual places. Long story short, I spun approximately 290 new gyms.
This had the knock-on effect of knocking-off a lot of my previously spun gyms (game has a limit of 1000 visible gyms and removes them in chronological order from oldest to newest). Amongst those that disappeared where a load of gold gyms - and I wasn’t keeping a separate record 
.
To illustrate this here is a snap of the current bottom of my list - and in the next 5 due to be removed are 3 gold gyms…
So the best I can do is guess. The last count I had was 95… the newest count is 100 (+those missing).
My guess: 108(ish)

Got #160 gold a few days ago, it’s in the business plaza, my mon was able to stay at the gym for 4+ days while I keep feeding golden razz berries from time to time. #159 can been seen from #160.

I don’t like the fact that the game has a limit of 1000 gym badges at one time since the game is 6 years old now, there should not be any limit on it, like the Pokemon candy we have.

Got #161 gold today, it’s located inside a car dealership and can be reached from limited parking spots, so I usually raid there. I was able to put my mon there after a raid and it stayed there for overnight, it turned gold before the mon was knocked out.
