I recently managed to get this to gold. Some gift-giving friends from Australia, Japan,… and a husband who willingly trades for distance helped a lot

Considering I’m a very late starter to Friends part of the game only finally getting access to it a bit shy of 3 months now. I think I’m doing ok with tis one thanks to a friend that gets quite a few International Gifts.

We traded a lot of long distance trades. Last time I had so much Japanese an US Pokemon that the minimum distance was about 4500km

I’ve only done a few trades with a friend sitting next to me. I don’t get how I even got 1km of distance.
