I Agree on that. The old system should have been reinstated for that badge and a new badge created for PVP.

Yeah, that’s also what my mate and I had. I believe I was in the 1200’s somewhere and he in the 1400’s. We both understand Niantic’s thinking of Ninatic wanting to new/less active players also make able to reach it, but it actually removes the last USP of being an active trainer from the beginning.
