He combines the search terms “shiny” and “ho” with the symbol “&”
So the Pokédex sees this as “find Pokemon with both “shiny” and “ho””

imagine that: having 6 shiny Ho-Oh but never caught a normal one…
(possible if you trew them away of are really bad at catching legendaries and need the 100% shiny catch rate on them)
