No details released as yet, but some speculation has been raised as to what may be included in the next season.

They better hurry up. The next season starts in literally a few hours.

Here’s the first glimpse:

There’s a lot to unpack, but here are the biggest things (includes some details from December)

  • Monthly Timed Research (Theme: Blanche and Stardust; Rewards include avatar items, Pokémon encounters, and more)
  • Part of a bigger “story” where Professor Willow discovers a locked ancient door.
  • Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem returning as Shiny-capable for December
  • Deino is Research Breakthrough for December
  • Mega Steelix coming to Pokémon GO for all players
  • Dragonspire Tower event in mid-December (Druddigon debut perhaps?)
  • Incense Day: Ice and Ground types, focus on Swinub (Mamoswine can learn Ancient Power again upon evolution during the event).
  • Pokemon Johto Tour

Honestly, I’m wondering if Arceus will be debuting in January. The presentation reminds me of Pokémon Legends.
