Speed affects both defense and attack, but isnt a stat on its own, thats why a speed forme wouldnt be too good, as it would lack a stat where it would excell (attack forme would be a devastating glass cannon and defense forme would be tanky as hell, but speed would just have rather mediocre stats)
What about a way to choose which pokemon could be on your nearby list, and I would want all of the pokemon at pokestops to be on my nearby list because I was right next to a stop with a tyranitar and instead i ran very far to get a larvitar.
