It has happened to me 8 times now, all today. I did a quest that rewards an encounter, but the quest encounter didn’t appear. Who has noticed the same? Or who knows why?

I tried to, but I don’t know how to do.
They changed the way encounters work. It doesnt show them after you complete the quest, but you should have a button “claim reward” showing just under your research progress. You can tap that to get your encounter.
If you are saving encounters, it will be put in line with the others you have already saved. So your encounters will be there, at the end of the line.
Very strange… But thank you. I still don’t see the ‘claim encounter’ button, but that is probably because I didn’t do a lot of encounters.
