Same here (in the suburbs there’s not a lot of stuff), but to anyone that thinks POI submission will ruin the game i’d like some reasoning behind it.

Say for instance Niantic allowed everyone to request a pokestop. This would allow many players to play without moving, if they have one at their home.

I’d be the first to admit that the first place I would try to submit a stop would be within range of my house and I would probably succeed if it were implemented. I can understand your logic, but remember, stops do not always mean more spawns, there is a stop near me that has never spawned a Pokémon except during events. The number of spawns is still dependent upon cellular traffic.

The first to see that pokestop and sees there’s no real pokestop there will report it and the stop will be removed
